Collage Books and Printmaking

Bell Ringer:

We spent 20 minutes in class finishing up our collage books today. Refer to the last blog post for more information.

After 20 minutes, using a half sheet of white paper and the styrofoam I passed out, you should've create a quick drawing. Refer to the video below. We will be creating relief prints in class using these drawings. Today, we just made our drawings and transferred them onto the styrofoam using pens or pencils. Everything will be reversed when you end up printing your drawing with ink. If you're doing any words at all, you need to make sure you write them backwards on your drawing.
