A Day: Communication, Pick your project

Bell Ringer:
We're starting a new project and I'm really excited about it. I'm hoping that the new method I'm going to try will allow you to work more independently and work on things you're interested in. Crossing my fingers!
First download the KWL Chart below and open the Communication slideshow. I've provided 4 topics in the field of Illustration that I think address communication well. You're going to pick ONE of them. The one you pick is the one you'll be learning about, completing assignments on, and basing your final project off for this unit. Once you pick a topic you won't be able to change it.
Open the Communication slideshow below, as you go through the slides, it should explain what you need to do with the KWL chart and then will give you an access code to Nearpod. You'll enter the code that corresponds with the topic you chose. I'll provide links to the assignments associated with each topic as described on Nearpod below as well.
Nearpod Assignments: You still need to go through the slides on Nearpod or you won't know what to do with these assignments. The instructions for each assignment are on Nearpod. The links to the documents that you'll need for each are below.
Graphic Design:
Children's Book Illustration:
Information and assignment is on Nearpod, you don't need any special materials or papers for today.
Graphic Novel:
If you have a graphic novel at home, use that or check one out from the library.
You'll fill out the signup sheet when you return to class.
Editorial Illustration:
Print on heavy paper or card stock
Look through the templates and pick one you want to use. Print off that one template and the example that goes with it.
