A1: I gave you 25 minutes to finish the your directional and non-directional textile print designs today. If you didn't finish, please, request an NG so you can finish and turn those in.

We also started creating a textile design by hand. We will do two. We started working on the Square Repeat and made it to Figure 6/Step 5. Do not copy the design in the example, use your own!!

Materials you'll need:

Piece of square tracing paper

Pencil

Scissors

Two pieces of scotch tape

When you cut your design apart to reassemble it, rub the tape on your pants or shirt first to pick up fibers. This will make it easier to peel the tape off later without ripping the tracing paper.

We started the Half-Drop Repeat and made it halfway through, but there was A LOT of confusion and designs falling apart so I think we'll start that one over next time.
